Help Out with a Student Nutrition Program at Your Local School

Join us in the fight against hunger and poverty. Contact the school principal in your area to inquire about becoming a volunteer. With your help we can ensure that all students have access to nutritious meals and snacks throughout the school day. We can’t do it without you. Become an SNP Hero!

Once An Angel Always an Angel

To those who are retiring, or leaving the TCDSB for new opportunities, please remember that “once an angel, always an angel”. You are welcome to join us at any and all future events, and to participate in any contests, raffles or other activities throughout the year. Alumni Angels Welcome

The Angel Foundation for Learning is endeavouring to start a database of contacts from among graduates of TCDSB schools. Though we recognize that not all past students may have benefited directly from the AFL’s support of students and families, we are hopeful that many of them would be aware of our charity and the work that we do to ensure that all students have access to nutritious meals and snacks, as well as funds to help with the purchase of school apparel, eye glasses, hearing aids and other basic essentials. We would like to extend an invitation to all TCDSB alumni to consider signing up for our distribution list so that we can share relevant information from time to time. The online registration form https://form.jotform.com/231863499523062 allows individuals to pick and choose what information they would like to receive so that we will only send them the information that they want to know about.

Other Ways to Help

Never has the need been greater for families in Toronto. More than 1 in 4 children live in poverty, and the disparity has been amplified in recent years. Thanks to our donors and sponsors we are able to say yes to all who come to us for assistance when the unexpected happens. We know there are many Angels among us who want to share what they have with others who are less fortunate and we welcome all who are eager to make a difference in the lives of our students.

There are many ways that you can get involved and make a positive impact on children and families who are experiencing hardship.
