Become an Angel Among Us and help others at your school, at your parish, or in your neighbourhood. Take a leadership role in exploring innovative ideas to help bridge any gaps that exist within your school community. Find ways to enhance the sense of community at your school.
The A-Team Believe Initiative is run in partnership with the Angel Foundation and Focus on Youth, and is designed to provide a hands-on experience that will help students develop essential skills that can be applied in all aspects of their lives. Over a series of leadership sessions, students will work in a team of like-minded individuals to identify a need or problem that aligns with their passions and develop solutions that can make a real impact in their schools or communities.
Throughout the program, they'll have the opportunity to build leadership skills, gain confidence in their abilities, and build on their storytelling skills. The entire program will be led by Olympian and Leadership facilitator Sarah Wells.
The program will culminate in an exciting pitch day, where your students will have the chance to pitch their innovative solution as a group to a panel of investors. Not only will they have the chance to showcase their skills and ideas, but they will also have the opportunity to win thousands of dollars in grants to help fund their projects!!
