CHRISTMAS CARD STUDENT ART CONTEST

The Angel Foundation for Learning is preparing for its annual sale of Christmas cards.

This year, we will once again offer the AFL classic cards, but we are also creating a collection of select pieces of student artwork to be featured on the 2022 AFL Christmas card.

All students are invited/encouraged to participate in an art contest.

Using any medium they wish, students are invited to submit Christmas themed artwork. Any holiday motif is welcome, though naturally we ask students to consider creations that reflect our Catholic Christmas traditions.

Submissions must be in full colour, and be sent electronically as high resolution jpeg to angel.foundation@tcdsb.org.

Suggested size would be 8-1/2 x 11 or 4-1/4 x 5-1/2” (or something that is easily scalable down to the specified size).

Deadline for submissions is Friday, October 28th at 3:00 pm.

Students whose artwork is selected for our Christmas cards will receive a thank you package including a pizza gift card, and they will also be acknowledged as the artist on the back of the cards.

Staff are asked to ensure that participating students have parental consent to submit their artwork and personal information (Name (first name, last initial), school name, grade). Consent form is attached for this purpose.

We can’t wait to see what our talented students will come up with this year.
