Get Ready to Give on Tuesday December 2nd!
Giving Tuesday is almost upon us! Once you finish shopping for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, please consider setting aside a few dollars to give with your heart on December 2nd.
This year, giving Tuesday falls during TCDSB's virtue of the month, Charity. During this Advent and Christmas season, let us think about those in need and make a special effort to support them through living the values in the Virtue of the Month - Charity.
The Angel Foundation for Learning continues to support children and families across the TCDSB year-round with in school and at home student nutrition programs, as well as emergency funds to assist with everything from medical equipment/supplies, school apparel, college and university application fees, accommodations, camp programs, bursaries and awards, and more. Each week we receive requests for thousands of dollars in assistance, and thanks to the continued generosity of our supporters, we have been able to respond.
Whether it’s participating in our giving events throughout the year, donating monthly, remembering a loved one with a memorial donation or a bequest, or hosting a fundraiser at your school, AFL Toronto appreciates the overwhelming generosity and compassion of our generous donors and sponsors.
