Students from St. Mary’s Catholic Academy are transforming the world through witness, faith, innovation and action. Congratulations and thank you to Yeonjoo Choi, Louis Paglicauan, Daniel Vasco, Madelina Fagundes and Kaitlyn Malfara who won a $5000 grant for the Angel Foundation for Learning through a presentation they made for YPI!
Ms Ousovitch, a teacher at St. Mary’s Catholic Academy, added “I’d also like to express my gratitude to all grade 10 Civics students who contributed to other charities in promoting a sense of community and good citizenship. This project allows students to learn, to engage and to be conscious of their everyday privileges as compared to many of those they help service.”
