Some of The Angel Foundation nutrition staff recently enjoyed participating in the annual Student Nutrition Ontario Vision Conference. The annual conference is an opportunity for staff involved in Student Nutrition Programs across the province to learn, network and be inspired for the year ahead through workshops and keynote speakers.
Jennifer Tocci, Office Manager for The Angel Foundation, picked up a cheque for $1200 from The Holy Trinity Catholic School who raised the money for the Angel Foundation by holding a Caine’s Arcade! Sounds like a lot of fun and thank you for remembering us.
Through the Student Nutrition Program that The Angel Foundation for Learning manages, roughly 59,000 students will receive a healthy breakfast or morning meal a day. The outcome of this is students are better prepared for the challenges of a school day. The number is astounding and headline-worthy! More information here.
Liam Murphy, one of the artists who will be participating at our Curiosities Art Show, got a shout out from the Royal Family for his art and a thumbs up for working with the Angel Foundation for learning. How great is that!
